Metrology Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
- Updating existing calibration procedures (electrical and mechanical) for re-accreditation purposes, and developing new calibration procedures
- Developing calculations to determine the qualification of measuring instruments
- Providing professional support to measurement technicians
- Calibrating measuring instruments (electrical and mechanical), and performing adjustments and repairs as required
- Issuing calibration certificates and ensuring the availability of documented, operational measuring instruments for operations, maintenance, and workshops
- Taking responsibility for the proper use and calibration status of standards and instruments (both in electrical and mechanical fields)
- Occasionally performing the duties of the Deputy Head of the Calibration Laboratory
- Carrying out engineering tasks within their professional competence necessary for the company’s operation
What We Expect From You:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (high-frequency or low-current specialization)
- User-level computer skills, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Technical English proficiency (written and reading/comprehension of technical texts)
- High-quality, precise, and independent work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in calibration activities

Metrology qualification in accordance with MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018

Knowledge of aircraft systems and equipment (avionic and mechanical)

Knowledge of telecommunications and pulse measurement techniques

Experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic equipment and instruments

Experience in programming measurement and industrial instruments
